Face it!
I’ve always been fascinated about body ornaments and modifications. So when I came to live above a tattoo and piercing shop in Amsterdam, I asked some of the employees and customers to pose for me. It resulted in this series of 20 portraits, which I exhibited in the famous Supperclub in Amsterdam. A small catalogue of the series was published.
My reflection, seen in my models eyes, symbolizes the mirror that each model provided me, about my own hunger for standing out of the crowd while maintaining self confidence!
